Peppperstone is a highly respected forex broker that was established in 2010. Platform and Tools
There are two primary choices of trading platforms that Pepperstone supports. The first is the industry standard Metatrader platform and the second is the ECN based cTrader platform.
MetaTrader 4 and 5 – The widely used MT4 and MT5 platforms come equipped with advanced charting features, and a host of technical studies. MetaTrader also supports strategy back testing and automated trading capabilities thru its Expert Advisors (EA). cTrader – A professional grade ECN Trading platform designed for optimal trade execution. Clean layout and interface for detailed chart analysis. cTrader comes with advanced trade management capabilities for setting stop and profit targets. You can also set adjustable session times and view Level II pricing. Within the cTrader platform, Pepperstone has developed cAlgo which allows traders to design indicators and algorithmic trading systems. There are many advantages to the cTrader platform, however, it is only available on Windows based operating systems.
Spreads and Commission
Pepperstone offer two main account types. The Razor account is an ECN account which includes a $3.50 USD commission per $100,000 traded and spreads starting from 0.0 pips. The Standard account is an STP account which has no commission, however spreads start from 1.0 pips.

For high volume traders Pepperstone also offers an Active Trader account which provides tiered rebates based on monthly trading volume as well as complimentary VPS hosting for your account.
Pepperstone offer trading on 61 currency pairs including combinations of the USD, EUR, AUD, JPY, GBP, CAD, CHF, and CNY. Access to Exotic currencies such as MXN, NOK, NZD, SEK, SGD, and ZAR is available in select pairs (primarily paired with USD). Limited Indices, Commodities and Crypto Currency markets are also offered.
Customers can take advantage of leverage up to 500:1, however this always should be treated with caution. Leverage not only increases your ability to generate fast income, it can also result in quick losses.
Traders that need to access their trading platform on the go will be glad to hear that Pepperstone has mobile trading solutions for them. Mobile Trading options are available via the Metatrader app or the cTrader app. Both are compatible for use with iPhones, Tablets, and Android devices.
